Bank told Me They Know Nothing about Them & Don't get New money

it's starting to seem as if any of the 250th anniversary coinage might not show up in circulation until next year or even later. As well as I remember, the bicentennial coinage seemed to start appearing in circulation practically at the beginning of 1976 and was very common in change by this time of the year. Now granted, I don't use cash as much as I did back then for purchases but I have yet to see any of the new coins in my area.

i'm not sure on the quarters . I haven,t Looked at quarters since the First State Quarters, add Eye Sight to the mix

I save the bicentennial Quarters when I Notice one

they used to say the pa state quarters were rare, I think it was more a Hoarder thing at first. may be the deal with the dimes.

Hoarders, Ebay Sellers & Coin dealers Buying them all

I have been getting boxes of String & Sons wraps with 2026 enders for about a month now. Quarters (2 designs so far), dimes, and nickels. They will show up now that most of the hype has dissipated.

The demand is low in my area of Texas. Most shops that bother have very few sales.

I think there is so Much Change being Unloaded From People Trying to Survive , The Banks Don't Need more From the Mint.
and If they get them, They Throw them in the Safe for Rainy Days.

and sellers are ordering them by the case from the mint

There was a depression in 1920-21. Evidently people were hurting and dug out all their change. The country was flooded with enough coins that the mint reduced output, making some 1921 dates scarce. It’s all supply and demand.

I have 2 of the dimes I got in my change, I put them away for my granddaughters, haven't seen a quarter yet.

I Like the Halves Better then the Quarters,
Quarters Still have Washington in them :angry4:
But Halves will Probably Not get into Circulation , Since most Slots No longer
Accept Coins.
