everyone else is doing it...I just want to be cool:laughing7:

any-how I have a Youtube channel so ill probably just use this to inform you of any videos I make(I had two but I deleted them because they where awful)
ill also inform you of any projects or ideas ahead of time
plus just random conversation
(sooner or later every user will have their own thread instead of random posts)

Don't feel too bad about the video's..I've attempted to make several
but nothing comes out good enough.

Just take good photo's and that's just as good, IMO, but
some folks like the video's.

just uploaded a video to YouTube
I'm testing out a new sluice I made, worked great!
I think the video turned out alright for the first time as well!
here's the link
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoaZTkIthTEcKrIj-fj_PPw/feed
(if I link up the video I don't get a view on YouTube whenever someone watches it

Great sluice man! I have some questions though.
What kind of materials did you use to make it?
Are you pre classifying to 1/2"?
How long did it take to make?

I think i'm going to try to make a more specific version of the instructions
but, I made it with just wood
you can classify to 1/2 but its easier to just pull out the big rocks
and it took me 30 minutes max

keep up the good work ! nice vid.

Nice video's what is on top of the sluice that make's it shiny? I have Angus Mackirk Sluice Explorer Recon II if ya want to have it. It's a small back pack one, usually when i carry it, i can go through material faster with a pan. Only problem is ya gotta classify to 12 to run it. It's small and very light weight. Just let me know!

Ok, on the whole sluice build idea, guard your riffle designs very carefully. People will steal them. I wouldn't do a up close and person or a side view of the riffles. Just a warning. I know a guy that made his own sluices and had his ideas stolen.
