That hand etched buckle is amazing, as is the patina. I suspect it might be bronze rather than brass. Love the hand etched button too. The button front with interlocking pattern likely had a wood back

Damn right your spoiled bud! The buckles from this site have got to be some of the earliest I've seen from the states. The patina on some of your finds is just amazing. That jade green is so pleasing to the eye. I hate that you have t got a Banner from any of these ridiculous finds from that site. Think you set the bar a bit too high for yourself my friend. Not a bad problem to have. So let me make sure I've got this straight....Mass silver, several cobs, incredible early coppers in amazing condition, super nice early buckles, lots of nice looking buttons....I know I'm missing a lot but holy crap what a site! It's been awesome to see your posts while I'm snowbound. Hopefully in a few weeks I will have something interesting to post. Not sure it will compare to what you R pulled from there but I'll do my best. Btw I hope you find something super crazy rare and valuable before tvst place is tapped out. As others said I think that's a long ways away
