I have been searching for arrowheads for as long as I could remember. West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Virginia proved to be void of anything artifact wise, at least to me. My family and I moved to Kentucky about three years ago. Last year, I found this by complete accident. I was walking toward one of our ponds across a plowed field, when I saw this, laying on top of the surface. It wasn't even buried! I said some bad words, screamed non-sense, thanked God, and did dances that Fred Astaire would be appalled by. Needless to say, I was happy...

If there was one there are most likely more. That is a killer Hopewell Point.

I live in Carter, but my mailbox is in Greenup. If I walk up the road for about an hour, I am in Lewis.

A beautiful first!
