Went out to some extremely hunted out parks this week end and scored some decent finds by tweaking the filters on the V3i and going slower more methodically with both detectors. Go 2 IHP's, 2 Barber dimes, 3 Mercury dimes, a Buf and V nickels, 1953 Silver Washington and7 wheats from between 1912 and 1918 (not shown). Not bad and show's that hard work and determination pays off.

Very nice coin-shooting, congratulations! :occasion14:

Hunted out parks are seldom really hunted out, as you just showed us. Nice score.

Definitely a killer weekend!, congrats!

great haul of silver! But did they fall into a vat of sand paper and roll around for a while?
Found in high gravel soil most from a turn of the century horse track now a park

Killer hunt is an understatement. That was an excellent day that you will not forget. Great job!

Very well played. Congrats on the really nice finds. A bit jelly!

I'd say you killed it at a hard hit park, Sweet day!

Nice coin hunting!

Thanks for sharing the Weekend finds with us. Not quite the same as being there but keeps all optimistic. Learn your detector. Listen closely to what it is telling you. And dig the rewards.
Congratulations on some great finds.

Great post. I use the White V3i too. Do you hunt in coin and jewelry mode, or relic ? I tried using the 7.5 filters recently in Relic mode and it seemed to go a little deeper. What is the best setting you can come up with for coin shooting ?
