Found this about 20 minutes ago in my box of nickels and I'm freakin out! Very exciting but have a question, how can I clean this? Should I try?

Im no expert, buy im pretty sure that will destroy any numismatic value. Antiqurs arent suppose to be shiny, the patina is part of the value.

It destroys any value. I have done it in the past for extremely corroded common date wheaties (since they are only worth a couple cents anyway).

No, defiantly did not get my hopes up since I had read about the history of that 3 mil coin the day before. Was hoping for more than 5 bucks or so.
