Good afternoon all, went for another hunt today with Treblehunter. Brad has the spots no doubt..

Found another King George II half Penny today about 5 minutes after getting out of the car, hunted for a few hrs finding a few flat buttons but the best button is this 1810 to 1830 navy officer button. Thanks to whoever sent Brad the link to exactly what it was..

I am flying home tomorrow back to Ca. I will miss the awesome hunting there is to be had out here. Shoot I was telling Brad I might have a hard time holding down a job since I would always want to be detecting..lol

Thanks again to Treblehunter and McCDig for showing me around. If you get a chance follow their threads they are Great guys and they find the goodies!

This tag has a design around the edge and looks like it was once silver washed. Darn these farm fields are hard on things.

Northern California is one of the BEST places to metal detect in America, in my opinion. It is the best of them all if you want to find a gold coin.

The two best places in the country I think are around Chesapeake Bay and Northern California around the gold fields. The guys from those areas who post on TreasureNet are a different class.
