Kit Carson Park's still got a little bit ----
Well, I took a rest for a couple of days but had to get back out. I decided to keep on detecting, keeping Little Miss SE but did bring home for her a Teroso brother named Cortes purchased from the Classifieds here on site. The two work well together. The Cortes looks like a toy but works like a million bucks and is a lot easier to swing than the SE. I found what I thought was a silver ring at about 8" with it but it turned out to be some sort of cheap alloy. The silent threshold takes some getting use to! Yesterday, I only managed a hour or two finding Lincolns, dimes, and a 1952 quarter. Today, I went back; determined. I found another silver quarter 1964 this time and a 57 Rosie with the SE! The rest of this stuff is a mix of yesterday and today. The broach, at first glance got my heart going but it appears worthless as are the ring, and locket. The nickel suffered Leske's remorse! No, not really; I found it on the way to the truck; toting two detectors, neither spotted it. Seems it got hit by a car or two? Lol! Sorry, ain't much here but, I got up, got out and "got it done!".
