Knife and spoon

IM not sure the age on these items. And I'm not sure they are that old but hopefully someone would identify the metal and ware on it. One is a spoon seems to be casted in silver or aluminum . The other is a knife handle with wood inlay. Not sure the metal consistency on the knife.

The spoon appears to be nickel silver, also called German silver (no silver in it) and it is die stamped, not cast. The handles look like they are from a putty knife or paint scraper, but it is hard to tell for sure. If you can easily scratch the handles it would most likely be pewter.

Man that's perfect. I have recently had a run in with a button that I believe was had castings of pewter and I think you are right. Thanks

Here is my spoon fully cleaned. Colby's stamped in the handle it's interesting regardless of the age. But what does it look like is it nickel casted or 1900 aluminum??

Now that you have it cleaned up a bit, it appears to be nickel plated. Does a magnet stick to it?? If so it is nickel plated steel, if not probably nickel plated over brass.

No magnetic pull id say brass cause you can see the red discharge coming threw a little on the back
