Found this 1961 shilling and a 1988 penny in sand dunes this afternoon. My first pre decimal coins I've found! I think I've found a good spot and am hoping to make many more cool discoveries in the next few days.. If the weather comes good

Can't wait to go back. I found the first coin as soon as I turned my detector on. Quite difficult terrain to hunt, lots of shrubs and overgrowth.. Really excited
