I recently purchased this scale weight that came from Israel and is attributed to the Knights Templar.
Was just curious if anyone was familiar with the “Nr”(?) symbols on it. Is it a unit of measurement? Thanks

This must be greek, the letters "Ni" and "Gamma", the cross looks Orthodox, too, not like a templar cross...
If it really came from Israel it could most likely be the initials for "Ναός (της) Γεννήσεως" which means "Church of the Nativity" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_the_Nativity) which is in Bethlehem, Palestina.
In my opinion no connection with the Knights Templar...
What is it made of, what's it weight?

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Very informative. It’s made of metal, like brass. I can get the exact weight once I receive it in the mail.
There were two other things that he was selling that also came from Israel with Templar crosses on them. What do you think about them?

I agree with yaxthri on the one and the same holds true with the other two items, that the Crosses are likely Christian Orthodox and have nothing to do with the Templar Knights. Below is an example of what a true Templar Knight Cross should look like and what was used during the Crusades and after.

Also, check out "incense spoon". (thurible and censer related)

Do you have an opinion on the third object? Cloak clasp?
