Lab Bottle found with the Calcium Inhalator

This was also found in the same hole as the PATENT CALCIUM INHALATOR recently post on this same forum. Because this was found on an old plantation camp this was probally from their lab. Any ideas on this one. You can see another tube like chamber within the bottle. It's 3-1/4" by 7/8". Both end of the opening is a bit flared

looks like one of those devices for smoking a certain green substance. ;D

Really though, I've seen similar pieces before, I think they are used to let gasses out of one container, while keeping outside air out, the big part would be filled with water most likely. I can't seem to remember what they are called, but a friend of mine who brews beer has newer versions of them.

My guess another early 20th century medical glass inhalator for asthma and respiratory diseases..

The directions show this type being heated by immersing in a cup of water.
