labor day eve finds at beach

a toy car,a toy plane,folding knife,.36 cents and a little silver ring with red stone??...ring was black i cleaned it up and now is silver..i believe it to be silver but only markings i see looks like two crossed arrows..?? anyone know that marking?
went to the beach around 6 pm til dark and there were just too many people there to hunt..i found an opening to the water between the people and found the ring in the wet sand ...makes me want to go right back in the morning but i have to wait until wednesday..

Well I couldn`t wait until tomorrow to go and went out to the same beach this morning...$3.26 clad and a junker ring...i was hunting for nearly 5 hours. no pic today..
There must have been a mini-busload of md`ers unload there because i counted 10 other md`ers at the same little beach! maybe more -they were everywhere...lucky i found anything today..
new beach tomorrow for sure.....good luck everyone!

UPDATE!! RING NOT A JUNKER!! I cleaned it up and it turned out to be stamped 925 and looks pretty nice now..it was really tarnished bad..the soil under the beach sand was black and smelly..some of the coins were just as bad..ok until next time Good Luck!

Congrats. If they come out of the wet completely black, most of the time they are silver. The fake silvers rust instead of turning black most of the time.

Well, hunted another 4 hours near the same beaches this morning..came out with $2.05 clad. spent more on the meter but I had fun and that`s what counts!
