Found this next to the river in Minnesota? Not sure what it is, thought maybe an old fixture for dresser or something. Any help would be greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like a drawer pull escutcheon plate. The pull is broken off.

Those were my thoughts too. Though you don't usually see a metal relief cameo, it isn't unheard of.

Very thin and light under 10 grams. Measures almost two inches long and roughly 1 1/2 inches wide. Thanks again!

The back does seem to show two solder points in the logical places for the pin of a brooch. It's interesting, as diggummup mentioned metal cameos arent super common. Tin I presume? That's rust on there, right?

Correct rusted through, most likely tin which would make sense as to the weight. I think you're on to something. Did they use tin on drawers?
