Looks like a drawer pull escutcheon plate. The pull is broken off.

Very thin and light under 10 grams. Measures almost two inches long and roughly 1 1/2 inches wide. Thanks again!

The back does seem to show two solder points in the logical places for the pin of a brooch. It's interesting, as diggummup mentioned metal cameos arent super common. Tin I presume? That's rust on there, right?

Correct rusted through, most likely tin which would make sense as to the weight. I think you're on to something. Did they use tin on drawers?
