Looking for some help as I'm a total newbie.
My family has had a house at Lake Berryessa (Napa, CA) since the Valley was filled to create the lake.
Upon doing some research of the surrounding areas via a simple google search, I landed on a Archaeological Investigations at Lake Berryessa, California: Berryessa I & II UC Merced Journal of California and Great Basin Anthropology. Which outlined a expedition to catalog the native sites adjacent to Putah Creek that ran thru the valley.

So when we had a major drought a few years ago and the lake receded to it's lowest level since it was filled, I went down below our house and looked around. Attached is a picture of what I found. Tool or just a rock?
What do you think?
