Those are cool aren't they? I've got a dark green one that my husband found somewhere.

Great finds....Reminds me of the time I first started detecting the water at a State Park. I found this half round white rock on the bottom in 3 foot of water. It was flat on the bottom and had a rounded top about 3 inches round. For some reason I stuck it in my wet suit instead of my big pouch where I thought it might wash out to be lost again. Soon my chest started burning and I took out the rock and looked at it again. It was really a urinal cake. I laughed at my stupidy and skipped the cake about ten times.

Nice finds Lonewolfe, I've heard the are also found more easier on the west coast than the east coast. I use to live just 15 minutes from Lake Erie but never found any there. I have seen quite a few In Egypt. at some of the off the wall shops. HH Art...

Great finds! I understand these are quite valuable.

There was a fellow trying to sell some on ebay a while back but I never did see how it came out.

He also had a really big one but he just used it as display to get people to click on his link. The ones he was really selling were about the size of yours.

The big one was like 1 foot in diameter. He said he'd never sell it.

In all the years I've hunted the great lakes I've never found one.

HH
