Dad dropped me off for a couple of hours on a Roman Site we discovered last year, this was our last chance on the Wheat.
Land-Mag joined me a little later & started gridding next to me, just happened his first find was a Silver Denarius of Severus Alexander AD222-35 :o :headbang: His 3rd ever Roman Silver (only detected for just over 1 year)

As we were going back to the car :laughing9: I dug my 10th Roman Coin (the target for the night) & Land-Mag got one of the largest complete Crotal bells I have seen - pretty sure when cleaned it will ring :icon_thumright:

None of them from what I could tell. This Silver one just had a few blobs of black oxidization.
