Large 14k band and medalion

Had less than an hour befor dark, so I grabbed the detector and made a move. A little clad, a shell presidents game tolen, and on photo--a large wide wedding band inscribed Benchmark 14k, and a Hindu religious medalion. Don't know how to read the inscription, not in English, and made of a nickle zinc type metal. A short hunt, but fun...

That wedding band looks heavy. I like it!!!

I'm often curious about how things come to be where they are when we find them. So, without giving any details about your site, what TYPE of location did you find that wedding band? I guess I'm trying to guesstimate if the ring was thrown away by an angry husband or if it was lost. I'm sure the answer will remain a mystery, but I always wonder how the heck something wound up where it did. Thanks.

Alchemy: thanks for the correction on the Buddhist pendent. I found it on an older athletic field. I will see if I can get a better photo, with readable words. Until then, your possible definition sounds good. Thanks.

Treasuretales: Found the ring on an athletic field where Rugby is played alot. Doubt it was thrown away. I will re-consider the avatar though. HH
