Great find! LC's are such a big coin, it's hard to understand how so many of them were lost, isn't it?
 

Trees seem to be rich with gifts. Makes sense, haven't we all rested against a tree? Leaning pockets give up coins....

I've often thought the very same thing.
 

Its a shame so many of them come out of the ground toasted. But they are still fun to find even in that condition. Congrats!
 

Nice find, but it's not a 74 LC because they only made them between 1793-1857 and the bust looks like a Liberty Head so that puts it between 1816-1857.
 

I have yet to find one. My hopes up though!
