My buddy found this along the shore and we can't seem to id it. I'm thinking British token or medal maybe. Any ideas?

While I am no expert by any means on such coins but I would lean towards Spanish, Spanish Netherlands or British.

British West indies? If it has a bust on one side could be a gaming piece " counter "

Dabble just a little olive oil on it to " bring out " the details. Then post a new pix.

That's definitely the British royal seal (lion and unicorn) so that narrows it down. Probably some type of token made in England in the 19th century.

Capt. Esteban has made a good point. I would lean more toward Spanish, myself, but have never been to Nova Scotia.

There are a lot of good coin guys on here it will get an I.D. hopefully they chime in soon, you might take some measurements and weight that will help them.

Thanks. I think you nailed it and it is one of them. My buddy only got a old flip phone so I posted it for him. He swore it had two unicorns on it. Once confirmed for sure I'll mark it solved! [emoji2][emoji106]

Just looked and could see the "penny piece" on it that's in the top picture so it's solved. Thank you! [emoji106]
