Found this today, pretty sure it is British, not sure which King George it is and whether or not it is a half penny or penny.
Any help greatly appreciated. The coin is pretty slick.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much.

Thanks once again!!!

Actually it's an 1806/1807 King George III half penny:

They had a smaller bust than the earlier half pennies and slanted reeding around the edge. You can actually see a little of the reeding in your photos; and the earlier 1770-1775 issue had plain edges. I found a couple, both very worn like yours, before I figured out what they were. I finally found a nice one with the date clear last year, but they're definitely less commonly found than the more plentiful 1770-1775 half pennies.

Thanks for responding. I am still learning, but according to the chart the 1806/7 is a larger diameter and almost twice the weight.
The coin I found is only 10g and 30mm wide.
Is the chart inaccurate or am I reading it incorrectly? (Entirely possible human error on my part)
Could it be due to excessive wear?

I am thankful for any and all input.
Just trying to verify.

Thank you!

I see my error!
You are correct, it must be an 1806/1807 Half Penny!!!
Wooohoooo, Identified!

Thanks So Much!!!
This forum rocks!
