Large Underground Chamber Opened on a Farm Near Phillipsburg -- Scientists Will Investigate.

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J., Nov. 21. -- There are a number of men at work quarrying stone on the Carpenter farm, a short distance from here. Yesterday one of the men struck his crowbar into what he thought was a piece of stone, and, to his surprise the crowbar went into the earth and disappeared.
