With 87 feet of snow on the ground, we are forced to hit the beaches. Went out twice in the past week, each time only one keeper ( precious metal) and a lot of clad. I did find a washed out cut that produced old “ stuff” just nothing of particular interest except a Mickey Mouse spoon from the 1930’s. The good stuff was a small deep .925 ring with a glass stone and yesterday I hit 18k gold chain by luck, the signal was horrible, a scratchy 10-13-15 on my Nox about 6” down, but it made my day. We’re heading back Friday and Sunday if any of you local boys want to tag along. Going to have a nice minus tide Saturday and Sunday and the weather won’t suck too bad😒

A nice array of coinage, linkage and miscelanage....northern beaches I'm assuming? Congrats, good to see you're still out there pulling silver and gold...
New Hampshire Rusty. Get your stuff ready, as soon as the snow melts we’re back in the woods around here. Between me, fast Eddy and Darrel we have 6 new farm permissions to hit

that aint no luck that's called paying attention to the conditions and working hard nice find

Chompin at the bit... sounds great to me, thanks!

Some sweet finds,, always nice to come home with Gold,, Congratulations

wish i couldve joined you - foot still in a cast
continued good luck

Truth, I actually got the chain in wet sand where the beach had been stripped after a big nor’easter. All the gold I’ve found with my Nox has rung up pretty high, between 10 and 17 but I do dig all the signal numbers, it’s usually crappola. I do go into the water but not very far, one splash of 33* water in my muck boots and that would end my day. Today we’re going to a beach that has been completely stripped to black sand and lots of old silver coins been found. Gonna be cold though 27* brrrrrrrrrr

In my world that is insane LOL I know there’s an art to Metal Detecting on the beach all I would have is bay St. Louis Mississippi which is an hour from my house and that beach isn’t so desirable. But you just like me I tell myself every day while I’m driving there I’m not gonna dig everything in that last for 2.2 seconds when I get there I get a sweet 12,13 and dig my first pull tap. I have to admit when I detect I don’t go in Beach Mode I go in Beast Mode lol I also respect how y’all know how to read that beach with the winds in the black sand and all that stuff it’s just like me reading old grass old dirt. Man you got a love this psychological addiction [emoji631]
Nice hunt Joe I got to give it to you you do well brotha [emoji1360]

Great finds, topped with the ring and the gold chain! Congratulations! Thanks for sharing.
