Hi gang,
Earlier this month I went on one of the fairground hunts with Mike from MI and a few folks from the club. Dug a silver '49 Rosie, a (orthopedic?) horseshoe and one dimpled object, possibly a camper door knob? Keith suggested a cane topper which I like better, but I'm not sure. The base is pretty rusty. Any thoughts?

On Dec. 23rd, with the temp at 47 degrees, it was time to hit one last cornfield. This site has given up 3 LC's but is always hard to hunt due to the knee high corn stubble. This year the heavy equipment has it pretty trampled down at the home site, so back I went. About a 3 minute drive from home, so nothing to lose.

Found part of a spoon, button, clock part, a lead seal(?), compact cover plus a 1904 IH. It felt good to end the year with a 110YO coin.

What is this lead thing? Smooth on the other side.

Felt like I earned this IH as it was a bit greasy out there....

Have a safe and prosperous 2015 and keep digging!
