I am happy to say that my last hunt of 2012 was one of my best. I dug my FIRST EVER offsite Bingham school button! This has been a goal of mine for a WHILE! On top of the button, I "dug" my very first offsite Bingham School Buckle! I found with eyes another on this site that another hunter had discarded as scrap! My other finds were two different toe plates, a pair of cool brass keys, a brass keyhole, some early glass, and a piece of NATIVE AMERICAN POTTERY!
The button front was dug first, and I recognized the backmark as a BS button, so I knew the front could be nearby. I started filming when I got a signal about a foot away from the button back, dug it, and it was the front! Enjoy the pictures!

The button back, before I found the front

How many times have you ever done this!? Broken button, both halves recovered!

As dug, buckle

Button and Buckle, both from Bingham School, Mebaneville, NC

Neat old keys, lock plate, toe plates

Native American pottery shard, and early glass
