Havent hunted in a few years. Blew the dust off my cheap detector a couple days ago and have put in about 8 hrs since. Haven't found much, detecting the yard on my home that was built in the 1700's.

WOW, I would say you knocked the dust off! Nice job. I would love to find any of those.

DIDN"T FIND MUCH???? You found more in 8 hours that I have in 2 years. Great job

Thanks, maybe I just expect too much? I was tickled to death to find the half dime, since it is my first silver coin and I have actively detected for around 3 years, I still haven't found one good piece of jewelry. Everything is fake or plated.

Wow! Btw the indian is an 1859 (because there is no shield on the reverse). Love the bust silver. :headbang:

Been detecting over 30 years. Still have not found a bust silver coin and my detectors go deep. You are doing well. :notworthy:

Thanks fellas, that makes me feel a bit better. When I log on here and see so many old coins in one trip I figure I must be doing something wrong since I've only found the two in this post and another toasted IH. very few wheats also only 4 or 5. Either that, or I keep forgetting they're not showing all the trash that was dug also LOL.
