Last box o' booze

All of these are applied lip, exept the small case gin. The amber crown and amber wine both have a "B" on the base. The amber wine has a conical kickup. The clear Louisville half pint is in exceptional condition, looks like an attic piece but was pulled from the railroad dump, as most of these were. The slug plate amber flask has (excuse me ladies) (3) 't!ts' on the base, never seen another like it. Dig with care to avoid deep despair.

Re: Last box o' booze

Fantastic bottles! I LIVE for the day when I might dig a case gin. They have captivated my imagination with their shape and color. Good to see some more bottles from Louisville posted on here.

BB, I knew you were going to like that little half pint! I never dug a "real" case gin, the one shown is an ABM, dug out of my first dump in the 70's, but it's interesting, only 8" tall, a mini.

I don't think I've seen a mini case gin posted here before--unless I didn't pay attention to Harry's measuring stick while viewing the ones he posted.

Great suff!

Nice group of bottles. My favorite is the Hopkins Chalybeate, a patent medicine that must have been effective, judging by how long it was on the market. Here's mine from about 1850:

Re: Last box o' booze

Thanks guys, I'm running out of goods to show, I think I'll do some food bottles or cobalt next.
