Last couple days finds........

Tuesday me and Oldschool hit a site we thought held an old school. Nothing form the era of the school showed up, but I got a nice 1924 merc. Today we hit a newer school. Randy scored a nice 1901 V nickle and a 1923 Buffalo. I got a 1906 Indian. Then we hit an old house site and Randy got a 1865 Indian. Also, anyone have any ideas about the spoon I found at an old home site? Why the hole in the bowl?? And Randy wants to know about the thingy he found that looks like some kinda buckle. Any ideas?? Nice finds! Congrats on the Merc! Never seen a spoon w/ a hole in it like that, but it seems you could

scoop up like some noodles( or such) and leave the broth behind, something like that maybe?

Great variety of coins, guys! I would agree with BandB1 that it is some kind of slotted spoon but have never seen one like it. Unique!
