Last week was a great week meeting up with my North Carolina buddies. Nick Bell and I headed to a spot where the owner had given me permission to hunt where I dig the half wreath and other things. I met up Saturday with my good friend Tony Mullen to hit one of his early spots. Finds included the very nice early Stirrup. Thank you Tony, I had a great time.

There was a rumor going around about you and the seated and stirrup in the detecting community. I have found only a few seated dimes while looking for CW relics but an 1877 is one of them. WTG Mike. The stirrup is civilian, blacksmith made, and can easily pre-date the CW so I have been told. Again, WTG. I'd say you guys had a great time. HH, Q.

great finds. really cool old house

Its just not fair....I am 70 miles from that mint and cant dig that mark!!Way to go bud!!

Way to go Mike. You definately stole the day with that CC find. Good job on putting us on an awesome exciting spot as well. Of course your girls will steal the show every time you put them in a post like that!

Great find Mike. Although I am primarily a relic hunter, a CC coin is on my wish list. Seems they're rarer than hen's teeth east of the Mississippi! NICE!

wtg, Mike :headbang: I'd love to get an intact stirrup like that one :icon_thumleft: CC silver is nice too :headbang:

Shoot Mike,as much as I like the seated,I would rather take the stirrup :tard: Sorry Brother!!! Great dig,CC is still on the list.

beautiful home and some nice finds as usual!

Well done! Did you get to look around the house too? I bet those walls have seen some history.

PB

The Seated CC is Sweeeet.

Your little girl (she's a cutie) reminds me of mine when she was that age.

Enjoy it, they grow up fast.
