Got invited to a new field from a fellow hunter and it turned out to be a pretty good few hours. Good company and good haul!

Here are some artifacts from my go-to field.

I'm not sure what this was/is, but it looks to be mid-section and I don't think it was a tool.

Another one I'm not quite sure about, but definitely an artifact. It has a beveled and rounded edge on one side. It looked like a really busted up celt, but the 2 divots on top look to be intentional though I'm not sure what use they would have had, could be fractures its hard for me to tell. Really hard/heavy greenish colored stone.

Nice finds! I'd be thrilled with a day like that!

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

What a good day, you found a lot of great stuff.

Great finds and good friend you have!

That was a good hunt!

Nice how many complete pieces you found.

It is such a thrill to find and hold an ancient stone tool, made a few thousand years ago, that has been lying in a field just waiting to be held once again. Awesome.

Capt. Redbeard - you must have a nose for Onondaga Chert! You're like a bloodhound!

Thanks Chris, I had a great time walking with you guys! I just let my intuition guide me while walking around, even if its wild zigzag patterns and cartwheels :laughing7:

Hey Captain...I think that might be a "beveled adze" - the distinctive artifact of the Lamoka culture. Would love to see it next time we go hunting and gathering! - C.

I'll definitely bring it along with me on the next trip.
