The 31st of Dec and 55 here in southwestern Virginia. Decided to give my new X-Terra-70 a work out. I along with two friends decided to hit the Cloyd Mountain Battle Site (located on private land) . The three of us recovered 12 Fed and Confederate rounds.
I'm only posting my fiends.
Pic one shows the bullets I recovered plus a brass P and OS that I recovered from another site, which I believe was a Confederate camp site.
Pic two is a recovered bullet that appears damaged and with a nipple.
Pic four and five a small bullet (front and back) that I'm not sure is cw
Pic six shows the recovered brass P and OS..these items were about 8" deep and I'm not sure what they are.
Pic seven is a drooped Confederate two ringer (54 or 58 Cal)
To all mt new friends at treasure net Happy New Year and God bless.
