Last Hunt of 2023 & a Lucky Finish...

Not been doing as much detecting lately & this was my only hunt in Dec & another short one of only 2 hours 15 mins.
Our best available option is a field near an old Abbey, an area where we have had a few Sceats. There is not much left but if we keep nibbling away we may get something nice.
First picture is a 45 mins Cru'dad solo hunt (Sewage Site) on the 25th Nov, not much other than 1 scrappy.
Today;
Complete Crotal Bell
1 Scrappy
2 Hammered: 1 Ed I Penny & a probable Lizzy Groat.

Cru'dad got the first hammered in the gridding area, taking us equal to our best year of 108. But I found the worn one OTWBTTC, breaking the Record with only minutes until finishing!
