Last minute detector suggestions-

Hi, in the next couple of days I am getting ready to plunk down 490 for a Vaquero, which based on research for my needs and area is a good choice. Would my 500 budget be better served on a ebay or craigslist used detector? Just looking for the best bang for my buck.

If you buy a brand new one ,you get the LIFETIME warranty ,you don't get that on a 2nd. hand one,+ you can't go wrong with a Tesoro,just read the posts.

You can get a used Whites XLT for that amount of money. I like mine because it's programable and fun. It is also one of the top detectors ever made. I paid $500 for mine 10 years ago and it's still worth that. Have fun with what ever machine you get. HH
