Looks Like a Car Door Lock Mechanism, any chance someone can confirm? or even smaller chance, can anyone tell me what vehicle or recognize the serial number?

What does the left side look like ?

It is an old cylinder lock, probably from old car. I would say it came from a door, trunk or glove box. Hard to tell what model.

Looks like a normal kitchen, file drawer, etc. type lock. The number probably is the number on the appropriate key...

haha great a file cabinet, I started with doors and then cars looked very similar so I thought car and a serial number but the file cabinet looks almost identical. thanks for looking thanks for the id
