Here a some nice silver coins found detecting on New Years eve (day time). Three nice hammered, short cross possibly John or Richard 1, long cross probebly Henry 111. And a very nice Henry V, also three William 111 miled sixpences. I would have posted these earlier but I left them in my detecting partners pickup :-*.

If I found coins like that.....You would have to use a crowbar to remove them from my grasp LOL  No fear of me leaving them anywhere else beside my hand  ;D

Great finds

Hi Tyre!

Another bunch of great coins there. I've got to agree with the last post....if I found anything like those, I'd definitely not forget them in my buddies truck. In fact, I'd probably keep my fingers closed around them and run right home to show my wife and kids.

Great job. I always enjoy your posts.

NICE SHORT -CROSS.

My gut is that is not Henry III & as you say its either John or Richard I (Never had a Richard "The Lion Heart", very rare)

Its Clearly a London Mint but the moneyer is unclear:
RAV?(F) then it is either Henry III or John
RAV? (L) can only be Richard I or even Henry II - either would be excellent

Email an expert, my bets on "the Lion heart"
