Very nice finds and restorations, congratulations! :occasion14:

Very nice Smokey!!! That looks like a fun hunt.

Thank you. Several buttons including a NY and a couple eagle coats, the worm, underwear buttons, porcelain button, scissors, broken j hook, minies, melted minie, camp lead and some glass and pottery for color, some good looking cut nails, camp lead and percussion caps. The percussion caps are hard to get.

smokey
I like everything in the picture, but i like the scissors the best !

that worm does look pretty good, all things considered. I like the scissors too. The percussion caps would easy to lose or maybe chased around a lot with the pin pointer. pretty good site

Smokin finds!!!

Those percussion caps only became "visible" when the Deus used it's 9" elliptical coil. None of the other machines could find them.

Smokey, I love the scissors!!! Well done

That is the ONLY pair of CW or earlier scissors I have ever found, btw.

Great finds !!!

Its going to rain this Saturday, boo hoo.

Nice assortment of finds. I like how you left a bit of the dirt on a few of the items. NY button my favorite.

John

I left the dirt because I was so tired, it wasn't funny. No need to scrub everything completely. On a side note, I have never found a coin on this site, but did get a complete CW spur and a gorgeous Eagle Breastplate I guess 2 years ago. Something like that. It's posted here. I remember the digs, but not the dates.

CAT BEEN CATCHING A LOT OF MICE I SEE>

Cat sometimes falls in the holes, however. Right now digging UNDER a huge uprooted rotten tree. Maybe not this weekend due to rain, but hey, what's a cold anyway? They go away in a week or two.

Congrats on the sweet finds Smokey,,
I have to also say that the scissors appear to be in good shape.

Scissors are pretty good. I think I knocked the piece off one end when I dug them. I could always get some epoxy putty and fix it, but why bother and I have never tried that before. I'm sure I'd get it all over the house. Want to dig, want to dig, want to dig.

Where do you live? You have such a wide variety of relics that you post. Just curious.
