Last two year's finds

Here are a few of my better coins and tokens.The half dollar is 1893s a key date.Found right at the front door of a cabin where I hunt deer and turkeys.I bent down to dig and saw the rim of the coin in the dirt.Yeah, I hollered!

How old is the cabin? Odd find for a newer cabin (less then 50 yrs).

Old cabin

The cabin is old rotted down to 3' tall. On that mountain I've found maybe 20 other cabins all over 100 years old I think. One group of three cabins is128 years old. They were an army outpost built around the time of the Nez Perce war of 1877. Found only a couple of bullets there. Army budgets were lean at that time.The troops had no money to lose and they could not afford target practise.

Nice finds, I would be torn whether to take the shotgun or the metal detector to a place like that!
