Yea I spend a lot of time walking over cutovers and fire lines at work and always keep my eyes open.

got some good ones. so is the first one made that way or does it actually show a snapped ear. Some were made like that on purpose. It has a nice knife look to it.

alaldrid - are you sure the ear on the Kirk is broke? From the picture it looks like it was a knife that was resharpened more heavily on one side than the other (which is common). From the pic's it doesn't look broken. Either way very nice finds.

Thanks, The Kirk does have a broke ear. Looks to be very recent, most likely done when the logging road was put in.
