last week's hunt, hoes and ?old trunk lock

sorta uneventful day, but found all three hoes just about in the same hole, and the individual item looks like a trunk lock or something. I am in process of learning electrolysis and cant wait to see what it actually looks like. any ideas on the item.
still fun to dig 'em up even tho mosquitoes are startin to come alive!!

Keep at it, you are getting some old stuff out of the ground. I too have dug hoes like that in our city park that I know date pre 1900. You probably have a real treasure hiding there.

Those are some fly hoes you got there. Keep it up, all that big iron is hiding other goodies for sure.
