So I’ve been pretty busy lately haven’t had much time for digging but I decided I had to hit the church tonight for at least a half hour or so and see what else I could find well about ten minutes in I get a hit sounds like a light chirp but my AT pro doesn’t show a depth usually when I get that I’ll cut open the sod about 8 inch deep and sweep the hole to see if signal picks up so I did and this time signal was nice and solid 78 and depth shows 10 inch plus so i use my pin pointer and find two Indian head pennys in the same hole one 1866 the other 1872 so I recheck my hole and it’s clear move on two ft away similar signal dig about same depth and find this buckle any ideas what it’s for B6B8B5F9-E047-4137-ACDC-309165B7F9A5.webp661B2C8D-3336-49D9-8C89-ADF9B3E355C2.webpA205E6FF-EDD8-48CD-AA05-1B54108017C0.webp

Nice work with the AT Pro. Nice IH penny finds. Congrats

That's a Georgian shoe buckle. Late 1700's and with part of the iron chape intact too! That's a great find any day; congrats!

Looks like there may have been a late 1700s church there first:laughing7:

Those are good dates for Indians. :icon_thumleft:

Any day finding nice Indian heads is good day. Excellent buckle too

Those Indians are nice, but I really like that relic of a buckle.

Best find is the complete colonial shoe buckle by far!

Love the green
