It's been pretty darn cold up here in Wisconsin the last couple weeks. So, when the thermometer hit 42F today, the snow melted enough to see some bare grass and the soil suddenly soft enough to dig, I figured I'd give a local older park a shot. To my surprise I was able to uncover a few nice gems: 1913S and 1917S wheaties and a 1907 Indian Head. Made my day.

Good job . Got a 12 " plus where i'am at.

Nice Indian and early wheat cents, the condition on them is phenomenal, most of the ones that I find look like crusty peeling orangy-green burnt toast.

Coinman123,

Can't believe the normal looking condition on those wheats. You'd think they came out of a dresser drawer, not 6" under. That 13-S is about a $20 wheat. :)
