got this with some late christmas money

the seller said they bought them ages ago, and i have seen a couple of things around the web about them unrelated to this seller's listings. were these once released as some kind of micro-mount 'series', a bit like those lunar and martian meteorites in the micro-mounts with moon/mars photo backgrounds, that are incredibly popular nowadays...(and, also seem to make up 75% of eBay's lunar meteorites)?
