Latest CW relic hunts...lead, brass and silver!

[sekypaleo]

Here are the results from my last 3 local Civil War relic hunts. Greg (gettindirty) and I did good today, and he will post his finds later. Highlights are an 1856 Seated dime, 2 complete eagle buttons, a carved bullet, lead gun nipple protector and waht looks to be a soldiers attempt to make a cuff button from a bullet. Thanks for looking! HH'ing all.

Hey Bill,

That really is a great haul you got there. A real nice variety or relics indeed. Can't wait to do it again! Rest up! Thought I'd let you know I changed my screen name to "campbluegrass"... wife didn't like the other one... Talk to you soon.

Thanks Quindy...not to worry this spot will NEVER be fully hunted out...way to large an area and way to brushy. Greg will tell ya...it's hard huntin in there!

Yup, but you are in an area now that can produce some really rare CW bullets...tear it up!

Very nice finds

Thanks Blaze! Used the T2 SE instead of the G2...felt I needed to give it a fair shot. Gets about 1-2 "more depth than the G2. Still lovin the G2 though.

Mmm, great looking drops. That's the way I love seeing them come outta the ground. Good job on everything.
