Looks like one of the more modern ones WestFront, just stamped 1 ONZStamped inside?
lost count to Bill, this is not the first year on this site. Every year is the same. can you imagine lets say the medieval equivalent of a Super Bowl happening in an certain area every year for lets say 250 years. How many consecutive hunts have you recovered at least one hammered coin?? I think I lost count. A lot of money must have exchanged hands through the ages at that incredible site of yours.
Bored never, amazed yes.Yeap RAF. You must be getting bored of the pesky hammered jumping under your coil all the time, what a drag.
Mother nature will soon, as always keep me an the hammered apart.Nice results from your latest efforts Rob, the weight is a timely find to weigh up all those hammered silvers.
The thing is Ahab, and you can believe this if you want. Due to England's laws on metal detecting, I have not posted the best finds. Were going to expect a gold coin in the near future Rob. You're starting to bore us with these hammered silvers of yours
