This old river still holds some good finds. Jan 1st and 2nd was very productive. My two days of metal detecting out by the river. 1891 V Nickel, 1905 Barber Dime, 1918 Buffalo Two Feather Nickel, 1935 Mercury Dime, 1943 Mercury Dime, 1943 Silver Quarter,1957 Silver Dime and one nice 14K Gold ring and about 6 dollars in change that I will put in my rock tumble to clean up.

Why leave that area when it's still producing nice finds. PI detector makes a world of difference my buddy can't keep up with me with his AT PRO. Something I feel bad that I am pulling that much silver out of there.

Why leave that area if it is still producing great finds. I find something nice every time I turn on my MD there. But alot is deep or under trash or between iron and rusted targets.

i use to deliver Gallo wine in the area and there is alot of hidden history there. Now when i went to Hanford i drank the fountain drinks with the bad water the wife knew it cause of smelly gas .
