Lawmakers Take on 'Knockout' Game

A New York lawmaker is taking a stand against the new “Knockout” game, in which young thugs sucker punch innocent pedestrians for the fun of it. The “game” has already killed three people.

Last week, Assemblyman Jim Tedisco (R) proposed a bill that would categorize the game as a “gang assault” with a sentence of up to 25 years. All involved would be charged as adults.

“They want to be big shots and big men … so they should have a big law to protect the innocent law-abiding citizens,” Tedisco said. *“Clearly, these are not young gentlemen— they’re punks, they’re thugs, they’re cowards.”

The assemblyman hopes the new law will deter youngsters from participating in the lethal game.

I think there should be minimum penalty of at least 20 years in prison if no deaths are involved and the death penalty if a death results.

Agreed, They do not display any civilized thought or care. A dangerous escalation looks immanent unless the cycle can be broken.

And in New York City, police officials are struggling to determine whether they should advise the public to take precautions against the Knockout Game — or whether in fact it existed.

“We’re trying to determine whether or not this is a real phenomenon,” Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly said on Friday. “I mean, yes, something like this can happen. But we would like to have people come forward and give us any information they have.”

and Thought Big Deal... but

If it becomes a big thing it will be because of the news media advertising it like they did bath salts, etc.

as far as Lawmakers, isn't there already a law on the books called Assult ? why do they need
a Knock out game Law ?

Right it doesn't exist, all the news reports on it are made up, the fact the majority of the victims are white, asian or jewish and the majority of the perpetrators are black thugs is just a strange conquincdense.

Jeff I believe the new law woukd set a stiffer penalty for perpetrators of the game assault over simple assault charges.

The extreme far-left staff at Daily Beast wrote that so-called “knockout game” violence by black mobs is*“overblown panic over a crime wave that doesn’t exist.”

I guess this is why Daily Beast is losing millions of dollars per year. If your going to write fake news, it has to be really funny for people to actually want to read it.

Another high profile far-left website, Slate.com, wrote that*black racial mob violence is “a myth.”*They attacked the “right-wing media” for perpetrating this alleged myth.

Think Progress, which is run by a former Obama White House staffer, also joined in.*That website claimed that black racial mob violence “might not be real.”

Actually, Think Progress published one element of the truth.

This website has repeatedly reported that the term “knockout game” started as a euphemism for black hate crime violence by the St. Louis, MO area media. The term “knockout game” was used to conceal the racial nature of the attacks. It was one of numerous regional euphemisms used by left-leaning reporters. In Philadelphia, media has commonly called it “flash mobs.” In England, the media has commonly called it “happy slapping.” In New York City, it has been called “wilding.” Using the phrase “attempted robbery,” is another common euphemism used by media all over the country to conceal black racial violence.

Think Progress correctly identifies the St. Louis media as creating the term “knockout game.” However, this is where they fly off the rails. Think Progress claims that “conservative” and “racist” websites popularized the term. In reality, the websites Think Progress is referring to have been fighting the media’s use of euphemisms such as “knockout game.”

We have been telling you straight up that the attacks are racially motivated mob violence by young blacks targeting non-blacks, especially whites. Think Progress flips reality upside down.

Think Progress claims conservatives are attributing values to the “knockout game” to distort public perception of the crimes. In reality, “knockout game” was coined as a propaganda euphemism by left-wing reporters to distort public perception of the crime! Conservatives are trying to strip off the layers of media propaganda.

What Think Progress, Daily Beast, and Slate are doing is tantamount to libel against the victims of black racial mob violence. This is no different that*falsely*claiming that a war crime never happened, because you support the party or ideology that perpetrated the war crime.

That law was already on the books before attacking Gays became a hate crime.

That law was already on the books before attacking homeless folks became a hate crime.

That law was already on the books before attacking black folks became a hate crime.

Black youth attacking white people as a sport is a hate crime - only fair that we should make it a hate crime by law as well.

All the folks who whine about equality should be celebrating ... but I guess it's only equality when they can do bad things and get away with it.

I submit there are even MORE attacks by blacks on whites but, because of fear of retribution, it's not getting reported. If NYC really wants to stop this crap then they should allow the citizens to protect themselves or just yield the streets to the scum of this society.
