Hello all - 2 yards Saturday, 1 Sunday and 1 tonight produced the finds below.
1852 LC, 1891 Seated dime, 4 Mercs (41S, 43D, 44D, 45), 46 Rosie, 36 Buffalo and believe it or not, 53 Wheat pennies ranging from 1910 through 58D. Also scored a Silver ring and heart pendant.
Managed to dig a few relics including an old Treble Gilt button, Roy Rogers badge, thimble, buckle and an old lock piece labeled "Burglar Lock Pat Oct 19.58 and Jun 22.69 Ellis Knapp & Co".
Big fun! HH - Brent

UPDATE ---> The Heart buckle found turns out to be a CIVIL WAR HORSE'S HEART-SHAPED HARNESS BUCKLE SHIELD....ACCORDING TO
HOWARD R. CROUCH'S HORSE EQUIPMENT OF THE CIVIL WAR ERA, PAGE 168...THESE
ITEMS PROTECTED THE HAIR OF THE HORSE'S TAIL FROM BEING PULLED OUT OF THE
BUCKLE TONGUES. THE HEART MOTIF WAS VERY POPULAR.

Only thing I could find on the lock thingy is that Ellis Knapp & Co made trunk locks amd other locks.
