found this lead bar on the .....you guessed it.....the ATV trails where the 2 large cents were found. Got me a prime spot there. ANyway looks like it was brken in half or broken off something. Heavy like lead that is why I am guessing it is lead. Anyone???

Thanks again

Alloy...could be a piece of foot prop from an Atv or dirtbike...considering you found it on or near a trail...

sorry I had mind flatulance and forgot to bring it in today to better describe it and measure and heck even weigh it (postage scale at work). The thing I was thinking was one of the spokes for an outdoor water spicket. You know, part of the handle that you turn. Will try to remember to bring it in tomorrow.

Thanks for the researching.

okay brought it in....it is almost 1 3/4 inches long but it is broken at that point so not sure on the total length. It is 11/16 inches wide and 3/8 inch thick and weighs 1.1 ounces.

Any ideas?
