The front of the token says D&H with a 5 on the back. Could this have anything to do with the Delaware & Hudson railroad? If so what could it have been used for? Thanks in advance for any help with id.

Its a lead seal. There have been several lead seals posted here on "What is it" in the past couple of days. Lead seals are used to seal things up to prevent tampering. They have been in use for hundreds of years on everything from bales, bags, cloth, boxcars, utility meters. I'll find a couple of links and post them here. Your guess is good on it possibly being railroad related.
