Can anyone identify the maker of this toy or possibly, based on the gear, which war it is from. I believe WWII as I did find 2 war nickles on this property, which was built in 1940.

and yes, I caused the paint chips on the helmet and face while cleaning it....
(smacks head repeatedly against desk)
I need to learn to be much more patient when removing dirt
(continues to smack head against desk)

Thanks for looking

Barclay Manoil was a big Toy Soldier Maker (there were 4 big makers) from the 1930 through WWII. Your little guy reminds me of one of their soldiers.
That's all I know. :-\

Don't know who made your soldier, but it is definately a WW II one. Nice find.

I agree that's it's a Barclay soldier...

This particular one is part of a series or the Barclay Pod Foot soldiers in Khaki.

They were made from the 50's through 1971. They are unmarked.
